InstaRec and a goddamned plot bunny FROM HELL
Okay so totally spamming you again, BUT. I have just read this story, and it is just. It has made me so, so happy. I mean, I could post my entire comment to the author, which is basically HEARTS IN EYES LIKE WHOA, and waxing lyrical about content and style and visuality, but I think you ought to just read it yourselves.
Cold Making Warmth by Anonymouse.
Steve settles upon the few things he knows for sure: that the days are short, and it's cold, and he doesn't mind looking dumb for making the effort. So screw the protocol, whether it exists or not – he's giving gifts.

Not to mention that this story has given me THE MOST RABID PLOT BUNNY. Okay. So. COULSON BAKING ALLLLLLL THE THINGS. *_________* DON'T TELL ME YOU DON'T WANT IT. My comment to the wonderful Anonymouse included this: And Coulson, GOD, now I want to write that fic where Coulson stress-bakes, or owns a bakery, or has to go undercover as a baker at some culinary competition and ends up winning it.
