A heartfelt plea

Dear John and Sherlock,

Kindly stop being so ridiculously enticing, fascinating, and compelling, so I can stop re-watching your adventures as detailed by the BBC, stop devouring [livejournal.com profile] irisbleufic and [livejournal.com profile] moony's fabulous fics, and finish my damned Big Bang in time!! For fuck's sake, this is getting ridiculous.

Love,
Sirona.

PS: Sherlock, darling, I never took you for being delusional. You are clearly not a sociopath, be it high-functioning or any other kind, and I have ample evidence to support this.

In other news, happy birthday [livejournal.com profile] enigel! Hope you have a good one!

THE PROBLEM IS, IT'S RAPIDLY BECOMIND MINE. FUCKING HELL, INCEPTION WAS BAD ENOUGH. HOW IS IT FAIR TO BE HIT WITH TWO BRILLIANT FANDOMS INSIDE OF SIX MONTHS??? DDDDD:

Hee, thank you!

And yeah, you're not the only one who argues that Sherlock's line about being a sociopath was more of a throw-away punchline. Whether Sherlock himself believes it or just wants people to believe it is very debatable. ;)

Yes, I've noticed that! :D My pet theory is that Sherlock hides behind the diagnosis, using it as a shield against the world/an excuse for when he doesn't understand something or can't be bothered to act a certain way. I do love the way Moff's characterisation and his take on the cliche, and Benedict plays him SO DAMN WELL.
