Sooo... Got home a couple hours ago. It's been 34 degrees outside, and I am heat-slapped and groggy. My head hurts because of the A/C slamming right at my sinuses, and I'm just flat-out knackered. The interview turned out to be more of a talk, theoretical but with potential, so altogether not too much of a waste of time. Had a nice dinner with my cousin, so there was that.
Also had a lovely walk through the city yesterday afternoon, when it was hot but not unbearable, and it was just coming up to 6pm and the light was slanting and golden, and it was lovely.
Ellie has just invited me to Google +, which I've no idea what it is yet BUT I AM TERRIBLY EXCITED TO FIND OUT! :D
Haven't managed to make too much progress with writing -- only about 2K on the P&P thing this morning, BUT it has taken the story up to just beforeBingley's McCoy's proposal, SO NOT LONG TO GO AT ALL. I am kind of looking forward to writing those final scenes, A HELL OF A LOT.
Anyway. I think I shall sleep now. After I've gorged myself on delicious watermelon my dad's just sliced. YUM! Either that, or I'm going to get a sudden attack of mad inspiration, and end up staying way too late again. It could go either way at this point. >.>
ETA: I have every intention of signing up for this!
