Yeah, that was rather the point -- John walking without thinking of where he was going. I probably could have made it more straightforward, but yeah. Also, I think he would have heard the chime at three in the morning, even if very distantly -- but then again, I've never strolled by Regent's Park at 3am, so I couldn't be certain. It is a bit of a long way off. I should probably change it to Hyde Park, I know for sure he would have heard it then.
