My mother, my aunt, my grandmother -- they basically all hoard(ed) romance novels, like, traded several grocery bags full of them at a time(not entirely unlike my 300+ A/E Delicious bookmarks...). I love the subversion of the tropes with slash; I read an A/E regency AU recently that was just fabulous.
