It was my only experience with a regular beta reader, and she always took forever to get back to me. Drove me nuts, which is probably why, once I left that site (because it was not good for feedback, everyone was on LJ), I have refused to get a beta. Tried my patience too much, being held up for ages.

Arthur's character comes to me so easily, and then when I have to write from another perspective I'm sometimes in trouble. I can do other POVs, though. :)

LOL about the clothes bitching. My one college prof wears a suit jacket, the right kind of shirt, but pairs it with jeans. I thought of fandom!Arthur's reaction in my first class with this guy and only just avoided bursting out laughing.
