You really did do an amazing job with the descriptions here.
The background is so--I mean, there's so much here, and it took me a minute to realize that this was a pre-episode thing until halfway through, but the--just the whole thing aches with Steve's background, and he's just an amazing character to begin with because obviously his past was shit, and the fandom just loves taking that and running with it--breaking his stoicism in a million different ways the show writers probably never will.
