I think this is the first fandom I've been in that isn't full of rabid Austen fans, with the possible exception of Anime. I mean, in other fandoms, the mere mention of a P&P AU will er, excite the spirits, so to speak. Oh, well.
I wish I had the time to watch the BBC version!! It's been too long since I've sunk into it. OH JESUS CHRIST, STEVE COMING OUT OF THAT LAKE IN A SEE-THROUGH SHIRT AND BRITCHES, OH GOD, OH GOD. NNNNNNNGH.
I mean, I love all of Jane's books, but P&P has a special place in my heart. I am also rather fond of Persuasion.
