So zolac_no_miko tagged me, and since I just feel the need for some SQUEE in my life today, I HAVE DECIDED TO DO IT RIGHT NOW. <3

OKAY. Strangely enough *cough* this list sort of got pretty fandom-y on me. This surprises exactly no one, I should think.


1. OMG indira14 IS BACK!!! She went on hiatus in Feb, and I've been expecting her back for weeks now, AND SHE'S FINALLY BACK TODAY!! *smishes*


2. PostSecret today. Is it just me being hormonal? I think my squishy, desperately romantic inner core is showing. >.>

My name is Ashley. Four years ago this coming October I discovered the PostSecret Community. It was a safe haven, a place to share my deepest thoughts and feelings, it was a place to be one hundred percent myself.

I had no idea or intention to pursue any sort of romance through PSC, my closest friends and family had no idea I even participated in online forums... PSC was my secret. Then I met Dominic.

He was a photography major from New Jersey, I was an undeclared college student living in Florida... we became friends rather quickly due to our shared interest in photography and art in general. Friendship grew into feelings and before I knew it Dominic flew down to Florida to meet me in person.

At the airport I nervously held a sign with his name on it, we saw each other, threw our arms around each other, and have yet to let go. I moved to Philadelphia to be closer to him that following October, almost a year to the day that I joined PSC. We moved in together, went to school together, rescued two cats together... all over the course of three years.

This past May I spent a good amount of time, twenty-two days actually, back home in Florida. This was the longest Dominic and I had been apart since I moved to Philadelphia, needless to say we missed each other terribly.

When my plane finally landed in Philadelphia I was giddy to get off and was ready to see my guy. I walk out of the concourse and see him waiting for me, holding a sign with my name on it, just as I had done for him a few years previous... except Dominic then flipped the sign over, and written on the other side was "Will you Marry Me?".

We've set our wedding for October 2012. I had no idea when I joined PostSecret Community that I would find the man that I was going to marry. We both credit the honesty, vulnerability, and trust we had for each other upon meeting to PostSecret.

By the time we finally met in person, we didn't have the awkward period of getting to know someone, we just worked. PostSecret made us so comfortable with ourselves, that we were able to be completely comfortable with each other.

We finally got to thank Frank in person at his speaking engagement at Monmouth University this past fall. Be on the lookout for a wedding invitation in the mail, Frank!

OH, STEVE. ♥♥♥ ALSO, zolac_no_miko informs me that ahgafhg'hkg'khg OMG IT IS PINEAPPLE SEASON IN HAWAI'I RIGHT NOW. WHO WANTS TO WRITE ME DANNY GRUMBLING AND RANTING ALL OVER THE PLACE? COME ON, YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO! :DDD


4. THIS X-MEN: FIRST STAND PRIDE AND PREJUDICE REWRITE THING. OMG, IT IS EATING MY BRAIN. CHARLES. ERIC. BOTH OF THEM. THEY ARE SO IN LOVE. AND OMG OMG zarah5 MADE ME A SOUNTRACK TO KEEP ME WRITING CHARLES TRYING TO RESIST ERIK AND ERIK FALLING FOR CHARLES AGAINST HIS BETTER JUDGEMENT. OR, LIZZIE ♥ DARCY JUST LIKE CHARLES ♥ ERIK. THE SONGS, I LOVE THEM SO MUCH, THEY ARE SO APT IT'S DISTURBING. <3


5. SPEAKING OF, OMG Magneto and Professor X Had Sex at the Movies This Summer—Did You See It? Better than a manifesto IMHO. OMG HOW DID THEY DO THIS TO ME, HOW?? I WANT ALLLLLL THE HAPPY ENDINGS FOR THEM. HOW THE HELL DID THIS HAPPEN, I SWORE I WOULDN'T GET INTO A NEW FANDOM AGAIN. D:


6. Part two of Hand in hand is done and off to red_rahl for illustrating!! :D OMG SHE HAS THIS IDEA ABOUT A MINI-COMIC WITH ALL THE ANIMALS AND THOUGHT BUBBLES AND STUFF. <333 Spoiler: there will be a new addition in part two! :D OR MAYBE TWO? WATCH THIS SPACE.


7. THE BAKERY AU. OMG WE HAVE A LOCATION AND WE HAVE STARTED WRITING IT AND OMG DANNY IS SO GRUMPY AND RANTY ALREADY. IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY. XDDD I have even made a sountrack for myself to get me going, which I shall totally share with my darling co-author if she is so inclined! <3


8. OMG got my lates issue of Empire on Friday, and last night I spent many an hour poring through it! THEY HAVE A SPECIAL ISSUE INSERT ABOUT DEATHLY HALLOWS PT. 2 AND IT IS INCREDIBLE. There's a pic in there of Tom Felton that honest-to-god stopped my breath in my chest. OMG HOLY CRAP THAT BOY GREW UP NICE. SEE FOR YOURSELVES!! NNNNNNNNNGH.





9. OMG THE WIMBLEDON MEN'S FINAL IS TODAY. GO NOVAK!!! \0/ *waves pom poms*


10. YOU GUYS. OMG YOU MAKE ME SAY OMG AND SQUEE AND WANT TO SMISH YOU ON A DAILY BASIS. This is for you (courtesy of zolac_no_miko ages ago, because she knows well my squishy sappy romantic nature, and is a pro at catering to my needs for fluff)! ♥

Darling co-author is so inclined! She is in her new flat aching all over after 7 hours of power moving yesterday but she hopefully will email you some writing later on today!
