Yeah, no slavery at all. Very little of the original details remain except an injured leg and Marcus' career in law enforcement (although thinking of the Legionaries as 'law enforcement' makes me giggle).
Wemyss: yes, saw it, and read the last 5-odd K to see how it ended. I had talked to Femme (whom I met a few weeks ago!) and she had beta'd it; she told me I didn't have to worry. He does try to have Harry explain the ending of Potter's Lock, but as you know my emotions ran, and still run, high about that. I may or may not give this one a go.
