sirona_ficsI am sitting in a delicious soup place in Sofia, having had a large bowl of broccoly and cheese soup, typing away on my laptop. It's pissing it down outside, I have to leave in half an hour, but for now?
I think I'm in heaven.
I haven't been about much, I know, I'm sure I'm missing all sorts of EPIC SHIT going on, esp re: H50 2.01, which, JFC WHAT THE BLOODY HELL. I keep making up scenarios to make Jenna the good guy. D: I'm pretty bummed about that one. Still, the break is doing wonders for me. I finished the cop!Erik AU (43K. WHAT. THE. BLOODY. FUCK. ERIK YOU HAVE TO STOP HIJACKING MY BRAIN, PLEASE AND THANK YOU), and I am making progress on the h50_exchange -- I'm about 2/3 done, and so far I am really, really loving what I've come up with. Tomorrow my aim is to finish it, and depending on time availability, start editing the cop!Erik one (fuck is it going to need it), and do a bit of betaing for a fantastic story that you guys will be reading soon (when it's time for the h50 bang, which is coming ever closer! :D). I am so privileged and thrilled to have access to it now! :D
Knowing that I have nowhere to be (for at least another 15 mins), knowing I have tomorrow completely at my disposal, barring dinner with one of my lovely aunts in the evening; having a place to come and go from with my friend's blessing -- it's what I've so desperately been needing. Today is just blissful, rain and all; first time I've worn one of my thick jumpers this year, and a cardie, too. It's cold, but not too cold; wet but not unbearable. Seriously, I am loving the fuck out of it. stardust_made about life, fandom, Sherlock & John, and everything and anything. It was so completely marvellous; I could not have spent today in a better, more delightful manner. I feel content in a way that I have not in far, far too long, considering this is how I used to feel most days when I was living in Oxford. My decision to pack it all up and move, tabula-rasa-style (as Stardust said), is crystalising and settling with every minute. I'm more than ready for that change; more to the point, I need it desperately. Today has just proven the point.
