Oh, wow, I just. Really? I mean, it's kinda sorta my headcanon, because I just needed to explain to myself the gaps in our knowledge of the minor, background characters -- and I'm completely thrilled it works for you, too! <3 I tried to make it very contained, let everyone draw their own conclusions, and I must say, I'm really happy with how it all came out!
And yes, Peggy is the bestest ever, and it really broke my heart to have her die, but. It would have happened some time, right? :(
