ohh, I love this, I love this a lot! I haven't seen Maria much in fic and it's absolutely heartbreaking how you write here. And how damaged Howard is, too. It sucks hardcore for Tony, but it gives a little background, something to try to explain it all. Also your Peggy rocks.
