Writing has been mostly /fail these few days -- only 10K or so overall on X-Pride II, which for me is a bit lame. STILL, PROGRESS HAS BEEN MADE. \0/ \0/ Pretty much half-way done now, with the plot sorted out for the rest of it, which is almost half the work done! :D :D Charles is about to find a puppy on his way home, when he gets caught in a rainstorm. :D :D ALLLLL THE FLUFFFFF. <3

But otherwise, the cop!Erik AU is almost completely finished!! \0/ \0/ It's now been passed to my gamma readers, who will tell me if it is actually readable as it is. <3 THANKS, YOU GUYS. Sooooo there ought to be a 43K Charles/Erik adventure romp posted in the next couple of days! \0/ \0/ \0/

For bakery AUs, I can recommend luciazephyr's "Stars and Stones Bakery and Coffee Shop". Dresden Files, AU obvs, Harry/Marcone. Searching for "bakery" at AO3 gives a few AUs, Potter, SGA, etc. There are also a couple of barista AUs I've read recently that I don't have the links handy for right now but I can try to find if you're interested.

You know what's the ironic part? This last August, delicatale and I wrote a 42K bakery AU for the H50 Big Bang! :D :D AND IT IS LOVELY, IF I DO SAY SO MYSELF. :D It shall soon be inflicted upon the world! \0/

Oh man, me too! I've been taking advantage of AO3s downloading feature and grabbing fics to put on my Kindle, but now there's like, 80 fics on there and I'm falling behind again. So much good stuff, though! :D

I'm..... not really moving over here? I'm just keeping my options open in terms of having my stuff backed up somewhere. I'm still hoping that LJ will get its act together. And it's entirely up to you, but TBH I won't be checking my Reading page over here very regularly, I don't think -- the LJ one is enough as it is. D: So yes to the filters, no to the defriending on LJ? Does that make sense? :D?

AND KONO, MAN.

1. Kono has known since she was very little that she wanted to sweep Scarlett O'Hara off her feet as well as tease Rhett Butler about his moustache and ask him to dance.

2. When she busted her knee surfing, Chin was the only person not to coddle her, not to let her stay in bed under the covers all day. He was the one who would bully her into physical therapy and chastise her parents about not taking a more active role in her rehabilitation. She hated him for it (then). She can't find the words to tell him how grateful she is (now).

3. Kono spends most of her nights on the North Shore. There's a group of them; sometimes they drink, sometimes they talk. Mostly they pad their boards deep into the ocean, sit on top of them in silence and listen to the waves, watch the moon, remember to breathe.

Good to know, about the moving/not moving. I won't unfriend on LJ, if you're still primarily reading over there. But I may comment over here more often. :D
