My Socially Incompetent ex-Flatmate was deeply into tennis. I still remember this one comment he made ("when Ursula from The Little Mermaid died, she was reincarnated as Serena Williams") that had me on the floor and under the table. I still giggle about it now.

As for journal layouts, I can sympathise. Although the one I have for aurrai was one of those love-at-first-sight occurrences, I've had trouble in the past with a layout for my RL account. Have you tried going through the tags at mintyapple? For me, flexible squares is the easiest to modify so I tend to only use those layouts. If you like, I sometimes mem layouts I like the look of.
