Coffee and TV. And a bit of writing here and there.
Watched what there is of Suits tonight. Totally loved it, although I'm not really shipping Harvey/Mike. Possibly because I like my ships to be on a more even footing, and in this let's be honest, most of the power is with Harvey. Having said that, LOVED. IT. And will be watching as much of it as I can get my hands on. Also watched eps 5 and 6 of White Collar finally. My god, the end of ep 5. PETER BURKE ILU SO MUCH. ♥♥♥
Not really feeling like reading stuff at the mo (too fucking hot) so I also watched The Lake House again yesterday. In a bizarre twist, I think the pairing I was least certain about might prove to be the most apt here: Steve/Danny is what I'm talking about. Because Danny can totally be Alex and Matty the brother, and Steve can be the doc with Jack. Perfect. Other fic plannage has also been happening -- more soon, I hope!
It's going to be 40C tomorrow. DDD: OH GOD. There's code Orange declared in my county. Thankfully there's also supposed to be proper storms tomorrow night, and it'll cool the air down a bit. I'll sleep like a baby tomorrow night, but tonight it's anyone's guess. I mostly sleep in my panties at the mo, no blanket, no sheet, no nothing -- too fucking hot, I'm not kidding. I HATE THE SUMMER SO MUCH. DX
Next stop -- Luther. FINALLY, after like a year of
zolac_no_miko telling me to 'watch it right now, goddamn it'. And other films/TV I feel like, for as long as this phase lasts. I've A Lot to catch up on.
For your time: TOM HARDY, YOU GET IN MY PANTS RIGHT NOW.

Ah, the Lake House AU! I need to rewatch that movie. I obviously approve of making it Steve/Danny. :)

That film actually had me crying towards the end, again. Dunno if it was because I was hella emotional yesterday to start with, but obviously it's still affecting. As for the pairing, I've thought and thought, but this really is the only one that just fits. Which means that I now have two massive Steve/Danny solo projects and two even more massive Steve/Danny collab projects. WHY, BRAIN, WHY?? And nothing Charles/Erik past the P&P thing, and I want to write something about them so much! D:

And whooooo, Lake House!AU. I recently watched it again, too, and there was so much desire inside me to write something, and then the heat quashed it. It's about 35C where I am, but it feels like 40C with the humidity factored in. D:
Also, *____* TOM HARDY I WILL LICK YOU ALL OVER. There is not a number large enough for the justs I cannot.
And, I'm a failure when it comes to writing when it's hot. D: So a delay on anything until it's cool enough for me to write something?

Dude, I tried and tried to make that one Charles/Erik, so hard, they just weren't playing along. D:
TOM HARDY, I WILL CLIMB YOU LIKE A TREE IF EVER I SEE YOU. FAIR WARNING.
I know exactly what you mean about writing in the heat. Last summer I couldn't write anything for ages because it was so stupidly hot and humid. At least this year I seem to have adapted some!

I really enjoyed the episodes so far and am looking forward to seeing the evolution of both characters when confronted to one another. (this being said, not sure this sentence makes any sense. off to bed)
(I also need to get my hands on Luther. I've been hearing so much about it.)

My friend's been telling me about Luther for seriously at least a year, and poking me to watch it. I figured it's about time, while I was still in the mood for more telly! Although I'll have to wait for Bones to be over, it's on telly right now.
Sleep well, babes! <3

So, I guess I need to check what this Suit thing is... And Luther (well, I know more about Luther, just hasn't got around to watch it yet)
On White Collar: Peter is just perfect, it's like every time he just does the the right thing.
Tom Hardy... I have no words left. I was utterly disappointed that people on my trip didn't appreciate my choosing him as eventual celebrity fuck (don't ask, it was a get to know each other in five questions kind of thing)
And on a different note, you know, you having written a P&P AU of Charles and Erik doesn't help my resolve to not read fanfics for the moment........

TV seems to be my thing right now, until I can get my writing mojo back. ALSO YES PETER IS ALWAYS PERFECT HE IS MY FAVOURITE. ♥
Heee, the P&P fic is a monster, this is true! BUT ON THE OTHER HAND I WOULD BE A HYPOCRITE IF I TOLD YOU DON'T READ IT, SO. :D

You would love Ireland (even though I still prefer Scotland... I don't know, maybe I lived in Scotland in a previous life, who knows, I just connected with that place in a very strong way). The land is so beautiful and the people are nice and friendly. :) I'll post picture soon and you can decide for yourself :)
Peter is my favorite too (also, for me at least, the hottest along with Diana and El... what can I say, Neil is extremely pretty, but not as hot).
You... you... I can't read it, ok? I haven't seen the movie yet. And yes, I do own 30 years and more of X-Men comics, so I know these characters, but I don't know the movie versions of them, ok? And I was trying to resist from... obtaining the movie somehow, considering I'll be in London at the beginning of August and that would be a good occasion to see it in English and on a big screen... but... did you know that I have a soft spot for P&P? Because I do... ack...

I would definitely wait to watch the film first (their chemistry, JFC it's unbelievable). And I think a lot of us have a soft spot for P&P! <3

(their chemistry, JFC it's unbelievable)
heh, so I've heard. And I could watch it in Italian, but I fear what they have done to the dialogs dubbing it and the wrong voices can do a lot of harm to characters and I don't want to risk that.
P&P is one of the few romantic classics that I do love. (I hate Romeo and Juliet and I'm not particularly fond of other classics). In other, related news, loving P&P and having a huge crush on Keira Knightley I was extremely disappointed when a couple of weeks ago I got to watch her P&P and didn't like it at all :((((

P&P is truly my favourite classic out there. I am partial to Persuasion too, though, very much. As for the Keira Knightley film -- I actually rather enjoyed it. It's not perfect, and there's A Lot of changes they've made -- and that I've used in the story, too, as I tried to mix it up a bit so it's not a flat retelling. That film was the first time I saw Joe Wright's stuff, and have loved everything he's done ever since. I think he is one of the few rare examples that I'll go see something because of the director, not so much the actors. And I thought Keira did a good job there -- when you consider that she was only 19 when she played that role.

As for P&P, I don't know. I found it pretty flat. Maybe I wasn't in the right mood, or maybe I was expecting too much. I love Keira, but in the movie her performance felt uneven. Actually, that was the problem I had with the whole movie (exception made for Matthew Macfadyen). As I said, maybe it was just a wrong moment kind of thing. I haven't seen any other movie by Wright, but Atonement is on my to-watch list.

TOM HARDY JESUS FUCK.
What do you think of Luther?
*disappears again*

Luther is FREAKING AMAZING. On episode 4 now, and I CAN'T STOP WATCHING. Seriously gritty, definitely not at all lawful, but oh my god I love it so much. I love the realism, the shots, the way they go out of their way to make it real, believable, to reach in there and twist. Definitely one of the best scripted BBC dramas I've come across for some time.
EDIT: Also I FREAKING LOVE ALICE. Just sayin'.

Haha "not at all lawful", I know right, WHY HELLO THERE I AM JOHN LUTHER, I AM YOUR HEALTHY DOSE OF MORAL GRAY AREA. XDDD Also, totally Batman.
BEST. SHOW. EVER.
Also lolololol of course you have an icon already and it's almost the same one as mine HI ALICE ICON HIIIIII~!!!
P.S. HI I'M BACK NOW HIIIIII~!!! And you should have a Big Bang edit in your inbox. <3

And I also rather like Schank, if I'm honest -- he is a BADASS and no mistake. And Julie -- she's a pretty well done character, I think. As opposed to her mother, who is a snake.
ACTUALLY I kept an icon post bookmarked for a week when I saw it had Luther icons, because I wanted to wait and watch it before I choose any AND OF COURSE IT WOULD BE ALICE, WHO ELSE COULD IT BE.
ANYWAY TL;DR I LOVE IT SO MUCH AND WHEN IS IT BACK ON TELLY ALREADY??

And oh, yeah, John's a freaking fantastic character... I think it would be hard not to like him, despite his many flaws, because he always has the very best of intentions, and whatever his methods the result is always a score for the side of ultimate good. But what a fantastically complicated character, right?
Schenk is also fantastic, although I really miss Teller... she was so freaking fabulous. And yeah, Julie turned out cool. God, her bitch mother. D:< *throttles*
THIS SHOW IS THE BEST SHOW ON TELLY, WHY IS THERE NOT MORE OF IT ON TELLY, I NEED MORE OF THIS SHOW FOR MY LIIIIIIIIIIIIIFE!!
...Let me know if you need me to send you the season one soundtrack. ^_^

EDIT FOR JOHN RAMBLE -- I told you I keep getting distracted by flailing! :D I meant to say, about John. I think I love everything about him. The way he always means well despite what the consequences of his actions are (as he says to Robert in 2.03). He is a true example of 'the road to hell is paved with good intentions'. I love how distinctive Elba makes him, with his hands in his pockets and his amble and his sad smiles and the way he sits and his crossed legs and everything. There's just no one like him on telly. AND DID YOU SEE HOW FAST HE COTTONED ON TO THE TAXI DRIVER?? It took Sherlock an entire hour to get there. :D I am astounded by how well Elba plays him. Just, all my love and respect to him. /edit
I kind of miss Alice? Except their arc was amazeballs and I'm sure she'll be back. WHEN IS THAT SHOW BACK, WHEN. T_____T
