In other news, we've had a bit of a slow day on the Bakery AU -- we only managed about 2K. It was bound to happen, the way we've been powering through this story, so I'm not at all worried. ALHFJHGFHG I LOVE THOSE TWO BOYS SO MUCH. <333

My grandma's house. It's one of the most calming places I know of, it's right smack in the middle of some gorgeous scenery in the mountains, the air is crystal clear, and when I lie on the ancient couch in the kitchen I feel all my worries melting away.

I don't know if it's the surroundings, the atmosphere of the house, my gran, that almost always I go there with some family members and we have a ball, or if it's the sheer love suffusing the place, but I feel almost cleansed when I stay there.

Because, apparently, I'm incapable of leaving a meme alone, and because I love music lyrics--they are my primary motivator for learning a language.

For me it's authors like Laurell K. Hamilton, Sherrilyn Kenyon, J. R. Ward and so on. I can devour one of their books and then stick them in the back of my bookshelf ready for the next time I need something of that variety. I ~~gleefully~~ admit to owning not a few books from their series (J. R. Ward in particular is a favourite for those occasions). I call them my Vampire Trash collection.
