Enemies become friends and friends become something more in a frantic race to outrun the unscrupulous Akatsuki organisation and the corrupt Alliance of space cities and steal a weapon that may mean the end of creation as they know it.
Notes: This started out as a fun and silly 20K story for the bigbangttebayo, a word limit we were a little worried we might not make when we started off. And then we got to writing, and then it sort of ran away from us a lot. It's still a love story, though, and we had an almost obscene amount of fun writing it. There is a fanmix created for this fic by the ever-wonderful ryuutchi, who also made us the gorgeous banner below!

A/N: Written for the wonderful syrraki for the last round of the sn_exchange. She asked for playing sports, medical based and AU, so this is what happened when I combined them in my head. A little disclaimer: I have never been to tennis camp, so I have no idea what goes on in there. The happenings here are a product of my imagination; the tennis players are real, though. A lot of research went into writing this, and the facts are as accurate as I can make them. I did consult a doctor for the medical parts. Apart from that – thank goodness for Wikipedia! A massive, huge thank you goes out to prettypriestess, who not only came up with the initial idea, but also betaed this to within an inch of its life and was a brilliant cheerleader all the way through.
